Big headed Freida Pinto

Freida Pinto was once big-headed about her beauty.
The Mumbai-born actress – who has been dating ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ co-star Dev Patel since 2008 – has revealed she used to let compliments about the way she looked go to her head.
She said: “When I was small, a lot of people would say I was a cute chubby little baby, with light blue eyes, and my mum said initially I let it go to my head. But by the time I reached college, I kind of toned it down. It’s like a growing-up experience.”
However, the 26-year-old star admitted she now would prefer people praised her acting skills, rather than the way she looks.
Freida added: “I don’t like that to be honest. Every time someone tells me, ‘You look so beautiful in the film’. I don’t care! Just tell me if the performance was good.
“To be honest I still love shopping at H&M and Topshop, because if you really want to be stylish you should be able to mix and match different clothes, put them on yourself and still end up looking like a million bucks.”

A friend told The Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Andre flew Courtney to St. Tropez to meet his father in the summer. He calls her by her middle name Michelle and they often just spend nights in eating ice cream and watching movies. They feel very strongly about each other.
"But he has told Courtney that if it's going to work then she needs to clean up her act. She serious about this too and is even willing to end her rock 'n' roll lifestyle."
Andre - who owns the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles - was previously married to Ford Models heiress Katie Ford but they divorced in 2004. He then dated actress Uma Thurman for three years until separating from her in March 2007.
Courtney is famously the widow of Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain - who committed suicide in 1994. She has an 18-year-old daughter Frances Bean from her relationship with Kurt.
Andre and Courtney broke up in May after Andre became angry at the rock star's need to talk publicly about their romance and her jealous behaviour.

The source added to the News of the World newspaper: "Alasdhair and Simon are focused on turning David into a major fashion presence. Victoria's also very excited. She obviously thinks David is the sexiest man in the world and perfect to front the range."

During a recent TV interview Cheryl praised Simon as one of the few people who “gets her”, and it has now been revealed she often spends time with him and his mother in his X Factor dressing room.
“Cheryl is very privileged, as Simon rarely invites anyone into his dressing room. They’ve become very close in this series. They really respect one another’s opinions, so it’s a great time for them to relax and discuss the show,” a source told Grazia magazine. “Sometimes Simon’s mother Julie and Cheryl’s mum Joan join them, which Cheryl loves because they all sit around joking and laughing.”
The UK programme is live every Saturday and Sunday, with all the acts mentored by the judges performing. The pair regularly eat together before it’s time to take to the stage, often getting food delivered from one of Simon’s favourite restaurants.

Then they took us to the station,” she has previously said. “I knew it would make a great piece of art. I look totally retarded, like a Manson girl.”

“I stay grounded through my family – my brother Trevor and my mum come everywhere with me,” she explained. “My mum makes sure I’m kept in my place – I just got my computer taken away. She’s strict!”

Chloë still has the same friends she has always had, and they don’t treat her differently. It annoys her when people think she has changed, explaining just because she’s famous doesn’t mean people can talk about her behind her back. It hurts her feelings when she hears nasty comments, but she tries not to listen too much.

The star is keen for her movie career to continue, and has several actresses she hopes to emulate.

“Natalie Portman – you can tell she’s a genuinely nice person, she’s not fake. She’s so beautiful and an amazing actress,” Chloë told Grazia magazine. “I also love Audrey Hepburn, Cate Blanchett, Kirsten Dunst. They’ve all made phenomenal choices and chosen love of good film over money – I think that’s the way to go.”

Billy Ray and Tish announced they were splitting up after 17 years of marriage last month, much to the surprise of Hollywood. The young star – who was recently photographed drinking alcohol in a nightclub in Spain – insists she won’t be going too wild on her special day, and is planning to spend her birthday on the beach.
"I'm not going to go crazy; just have a fun party and then maybe take a vacation with my family... because that would be really cool. I think we need time to all be together," she told MTV News. "So that would be rad if we could all go to the beach or something.
“I have no idea where; somewhere near water. I'm a water baby; I have to be near the water and I love doing scuba and going out and being on a boat."
Before she can start planning her birthday celebrations, Miley has been busy rehearsing for her performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid, Spain, tonight. She has revealed the theme for her routine will be “angels and demons”.

Emma Watson would never strip off in a movie just to prove she has moved on from her Harry Potter role.
The star shot to fame in 2001, playing Hermione Granger in the popular wizard franchise. Shooting recently wrapped on the last movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – which is being released in two instalments – and Emma admits she was “in floods” of tears when she watched her final scenes with her co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.
The 20-year-old is fiercely proud of her involvement in the successful movies and doesn’t feel she needs to take on more risqué roles just to prevent her being typecast in the future.
“I’m not going to get my kit off or snort cocaine in a film, just to leave Hermione behind,” Emma said in an interview with The Sunday Times magazine. “I’m not going to do something shocking because I’m so paranoid or insecure that I can’t play another role convincingly. I don’t want everyone to forget me as Hermione. I’m really proud of her.”
The actress is currently studying literature at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She opted to continue her education in America rather than England because she thought she would be able to blend in more over there. Emma was concerned students at British universities would only want to talk about her involvement in the Harry Potter movies, but she admits she can be too uptight about her success.
When she first started making friends at college, she refused to talk about her fame but she has now learned to relax and just be herself.
“I worry that I might be seen to be name-dropping or boasting, so I have to constantly be self-deprecating. I feel people are always ready to jump on me. If I show any signs of being a diva or being ungrateful, they are just too ready to criticise,” Emma explained.
“In the first semester I just didn’t talk about my home life at all. Now I’ve realised that’s just stupid. Harry Potter has been such a big part of my life that if I don’t mention it I am being fake and my friends are only getting to know a very small part of me. Finally, I’m starting to say, ‘Yes, I’m famous. Yes, I’m in films. You’re just going to have to deal with it.’ I’m not going to tiptoe around anymore.”

Milla’s husband Paul W.S. Anderson is directing the release, and began screaming for handlers to help. They rushed after the charging steed, and were amazed to see a calm Milla coaxing the horse into a steady trot.
“She slowed it down until a handler finally caught up and led the skittish animal back to the set,” the publication added.
Milla even declined to take a break from filming, instead opting to use a different horse for the duration of the shoot.

He admitted to Britain’s Glamour magazine: “I tried to do as many as I could but it’s a hairy thing with those trains, because it’s not like doing a fight scene with another person where you can say, ‘Stop’. You’re dealing with three tons of fast-moving trains.
“I hear that Tom Cruise does every single one of his stunts, but I decided if it’s going to endanger my life, I’m giving it up to the guys who know what they’re doing.”

'That should be reserved for someone special,' she said.
Charlotte released her new album Back To Scratch on October 25th, featuring the single Logical World.

The couple is reportedly shooting in South America for less than a week and will be transported by helicopter from their hotel to their set. Despite fan reports to the contrary, Taylor Lautner did not come along for the shoot.
Brazilian fan sites are urging Twi-hards to give the stars space while they are in the country, claiming it will be worth the wait to see the honeymoon scenes on the big screen next year. Because as any Twilight fan worth their fangs know, the trip to Isle Esme is the setting of many sexy scenes between Edward and Bella (including a moonlit skinny dip), and we’re anxious to see the feathers fly!

And when asked if he was possible date potential in the future, she admitted: ‘Yeah - well he’s got the long curly hair. I do like some hair!’

Even though the Saturdays haven't been asked to perform new single Higher on the X Factor live shows, they will be back on Xtra Factor tomorrow night - but sadly Frankie said they won't be meeting up with any of the contestants, leaving lovestruck Harry out in the cold.
Despite Frankie's encouraging words Harry's hopes bagging Frankie sooner rather than later took the ultimate blow when she went on to admit she'd rather 'look after' the One Direction boys than date one of them.
‘I kind of feel like I want to mother them a bit and just look after them,' she said.

It’s going to be a busy next month or so for the fivesome. As well as promoting their new single, they’ve also been chosen to perform an intimate gig for Breast Cancer Campaign in partnership with KIT KAT Senses.

With Girls Aloud, Cheryl notched up five platinum albums and 20 top ten singles. She’s continued her success since going solo, duetting with Will.I.Am and Dizzee Rascal among others. Debut solo album 3 Words went straight to number one in the UK, and follow-up effort Messy Little Raindrops looks set for similar levels of success. However, despite her success, she was recently blasted for miming during her performance on The X Factor.

Prior to The X Factor, Cher’s singing career was restricted to singing at holiday camps. There was widespread uproar when she made it through to the live finals above Gamu Nhengu, but has since gone on the impress the judges. The Geordie judge jetted off to Los Angeles this week to sign a £6 million contract with record label Universal, only to find her prodigies had been fighting in her absence, according to the Sun.

Cole was even reduced to screaming at her young hopefuls Cher Lloyd, 17, Katie Waissel, 24, Treyc Cohen, 28 and 23-year-old Rebecca Ferguson in a bid to resolve the matter.
A show insider is quoted by the newspaper as saying: 'It all got very nasty. The girls were at each other's throats - and Cheryl's. She couldn't believe what was going on.'
As well as accusing the Girls Aloud singer of deserting them, each of the four girls were said to be concerned at Cole's supposed favouritism of the others.

The row also angered X Factor supremo Simon Cowell, who reportedly claimed: 'This lot are driving me mad. I want them to take Tuesday off and just go and just spend a day apart.'
Cole's deal with Universal will see the label back her bid to achieve stardom in the US, where she is said to have decided to spend more of her time.

Father-of-two Manford befriended Ms McNamee and reportedly exchanged pictures with her as wife Catherine prepares to give birth to their third child.
However, his fans in Cambridge appeared to be in a forgiving mood, as they applauded him during his performance.
The Manchester-born funnyman had started by telling them he had endured a bad day, before adding: 'I was thinking of not turning up, but you're all Guardian readers so you wouldn't know anyway.'
